The DVD you can purchase here is licensed for private home use only. Public performance of this film is prohibited unless you purchase the DVD with a public performance license. In simple terms, U.S. copyright law defines “public performance” as the showing of the film outside of the home, or any place where people are gathered who are not family members, such as a school, church, or organization – whether or not you charge admission. The exception is for use within a classroom setting where you are the teacher using the film as part of a regular curriculum.
